However, the message intended for the celebrants was not delivered: the authorities caught Mihai Târnovenanu and his companions even before the banner was unfurled, and instead of a triumph, they left the scene with a fine of 10,000 lei.

Péter Szijjártó, Hungary's Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Affairs, also participated in the event this year, which probably attracted the attention of the extreme nationalist organization.
