The actor initially refused chemotherapy, but later a metastasis was found in his body, at which point he already said yes to the treatment.
Last spring, Gábor Reviczky spoke for the first time about the aggressive type of prostate cancer that attacked his body.
After the treatments, he got so well that he recently returned to the Pest Theater,
where, after more than a year, he returned to the stage as the main character of The Imagined Patient.
The Kossuth and Jászai Mari award-winning actor now told RTL Híradó: he is already "starting to improve", but "chemo wears everyone out". He added:
“I got the last one on September 4th. I have never been as sick in my life as I was after the sixth chemo. I couldn't even drive, I passed out in the car".
He revealed that he takes everything natural, he has to go in for an examination once a month, and he gets an injection every three months. Although he returned to the stage, he also revealed earlier that he is no longer preparing for a new play because he feels that he would not be able to go through an entire rehearsal process.
