The World Happiness Report ranked 143 countries in 2024 based on GDP per capita and healthy life expectancy.
The study was also based on five factors from global surveys, in which the participants evaluated on a ten-point scale how much social support they can count on if they get into trouble, how much freedom they enjoy in making important decisions in their lives, how corrupt they feel the society they live in, how generous they think they are and how gloomy they see the future.
As the survey reveals, Finns are the happiest and Afghans the unhappiest of the 143 countries examined.
Our country finished in 56th place.
