For the European party family, the madness of identity politics is more important than the protection of natural resources.
The former leader of the LMP did not leave it unsaid that the European Green Party (EGP) suspended its cooperation with his former party.
"I made a huge mistake when I enthusiastically supported the former LMP joining the EGP after 2010," wrote András Schiffer on his social media page. He added: "The good news is that, according to seat estimates, the biggest loser of the EP elections will be the EGP. Everything has to fall into place at some point.”
No one seriously thinks that the EGP is more interested in quay closures, fewer flights, Budapest's green areas than zero percent, the lawyer stated.
As is known, the European Greens are suspending their cooperation with the LMP due to Dávid Vitézy's candidacy for mayor.
"As a pro-European and pro-democracy movement, the European Green Party is committed to fighting against the extreme right-wing, anti-European and populist regime of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán," the party family writes in a statement, according to which Gergely Karácsony's second victory in Budapest is essential for the rise of democratic and pro-European forces.
According to the lawyer, what EGP calls "democratic" and "pro-European" is actually imperialist and pro-American.
"In the 1980s, the anti-imperialist and pacifist German Greens - and the EGP in their wake - are today the biggest warmongers, lobbyists for overseas big capital and, of course, the German automobile industry. In the past, they did not serve the interests of future generations, but rather the interests of the military industry, Big Pharma, and private equity funds that also travel in agribusiness," wrote András Schiffer, who believes that the madness of identity politics is more important to the Greens than the protection of natural resources.
