The 21-year-old Hungarian boy broke his own national record and won the 100-meter backstroke at the Pro Swim series in San Antonio.

On the social media page of the Hungarian association, he reported on Sunday that with his time of 53.08 seconds, he not only triumphed supremely in the Texas city, but also carved three centuries from his previous record, which he achieved last year in the World Championship finals in Fukuoka.

"This life as a sprinter is good. It's not bad that I managed to achieve three personal bests out of three"

- said the 200-meter backstroke world champion, referring to the fact that he previously achieved personal bests in the 100-meter breaststroke and butterfly.

“Even Bob Bowman was smiling tonight. That's right, then he listed about fifteen mistakes I made during the hundred backs. The fact is, it's not easy to swim the backstroke in the open, now I finally managed to improve my World Cup final time by coiling like a snake".

The 21-year-old swimmer also reported that there were eight to nine weeks of relief due to the competitions, but now they are returning to hard work, there will only be training until Paris.
