The association of the latest savior of the left was registered in an apartment that is owned by a Cypriot company involved in an offshore network reaching as far as Bajna.
It was recently revealed that Péter Magyar Be the change! association was already registered in 2023, and it is linked to such left-wing actors as Áron Molnár (Noár), the Tanítanék Mozgalom or the Human Platform. Another interesting thing is that Be the change! marked as its seat II. According to a 2014 article, the company that owns an apartment in the district is connected to a Cypriot offshore company in which several members of Wallis Asset Management Zrt., which can be associated with Gordon Bajnai, are interested.
But this is far from the only link between Hungarian and Bajnai circles.
The Tűzfal group recently wrote that the name of Péter Magyar's new organization is Let's change! An association that was already registered by the court in July 2023. The goal of the association was defined as: "Regardless of party politics, we fight for people to live in a freer and more open country by forming a conscious, active society." The reference to a free and open country seems to evoke the frequent slogans of the Soros world.
The Firewall Group also checked where Be the Change! is registered. Association and who owns the property. The II. district, Kelemen László Street apartment is owned by Benedict 2002 Befektetési és Szolgáltató Kft.
The company belongs to an entrepreneurial couple: B. Barnabás and BS Csilla. B. Barnabás is also involved in Dadu Art Kft. The owner of this performing arts company is choreographer Éva Duda, who is none other than the wife of Áron (Noár) Molnár.
Be the change! visiting its website, we can see the joint symbol of the Tanítanék Mozgalom and Noár, also financed by the American left, and a snapshot of a teacher demonstration. It should be remembered that the Human Platform Association, which is behind Tanítanék, was supported by HUF 54.5 million in foreign money in 2022 alone.
Acquired by Péter Magyar Be the change! Association II. district, registered at Kelemen László utca, is therefore owned by Benedict 2002 Befektetési és Szolgáltató Kft. Not much information is available on the Internet about Benedict 2002 Befektetési és Szolgáltató Kft., but according to a 2014 Átlátszó article, it is a shareholder of Burnack Holdings Ltd., a Cypriot company involved in an offshore case.
The 2014 article has already been deleted from the Transparent page, but some of its attachments are available, and even the original article can be read with the help of a site called the Wayback Machine.
According to the Átlátszó article at the time, several members of Wallis Asset Management Zrt., which is connected to Bajnai Gordon, may be connected to the offshore company in some way. For example, Gyula Winkler, who supported Bajnai's party foundation, or György Nagy, who was one of the founders of Wallis.
The Péter Magyars' association was therefore registered in an apartment owned by a Cypriot company involved in an offshore network reaching as far as Bajna.
But this is far from the first connection with Bajnai, as Péter Magyar's lawyer, Péter Bárándy, was also the founder of the Homeland and Progress Association, which promotes the return of Gordon Bajnai, in 2012.
But it is also worth quoting Ervin Nagy's statement in 2017, in which he told HVG: "I would rather live under the control of the boring Gordon Bajnai. But society is not yet at the point where it needs a kind, intelligent downtown cultural being."
The case of data cleaning is even more telling. Behind the website of the Hungarian movement, Talpramagyarok.hu, the data team marked by the name Gordon Bajnai appeared. Documents confirm that the names of Estratos Digital GmbH and Lundadonate.org can be read in the website's data protection information.
The parties concerned, that is, DatAdat and Magyar, hastily denied the connection, and a few hours after the publication of the revealing article in the press, the names of the two companies disappeared from the data management information sheet.
However, the matter did not end there, because the next day, Péter Magyar came up with a surprising explanation. He reported that the data management information available on his movement's website was obtained from someone else. "We didn't want to pay for it separately," he said.
In connection with the incident, Attila Péterfalvi, the president of the data protection authority, said: the Hungarian website may have acted unfairly and illegally towards those who provided their data there.
In the meantime, the press learned that several people from the Magyar movement received newsletters without giving their consent, which Péterfalvi also called worrisome.
The latter case is eerily similar to the left's 2022 spam campaign, when unsolicited messages were sent to the masses.
- The same foreign influence attempt as was attempted in 2022 may be prepared - the president of the Sovereignty Protection Office has already spoken about this. Tamás Lánczi announced that the office had launched an investigation.
