Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, president of Fidesz, went on a parliamentary tour; as the first stop of the campaign tour, he met with farmers in Nemesgörzsöny in Veszprém county on Monday.
In one of the granaries, Viktor Orbán spoke in front of more than a hundred local farmers; the event was attended by Balázs Győrffy, the president of the National Chamber of Agriculture, István Jakab, the president of Magosz, as well as the mayor of Nemesgörzsönyi, Tamás Áldozó and László Tatai.
The Prime Minister said that Hungarian farmers are much stronger today than before. We will continue this, you can count on us - he said, noting that he is Hungary's first rural prime minister.

He also talked about the fact that agricultural prices have collapsed due to the wrong decisions of Brussels, and this can be remedied by electing new leaders to the head of the European Union.
Viktor Orbán asked the farmers to support the Fidesz candidates, and even if the situation is not easy now, "we will put things in order, and the world of farmers will find their calculations".
