Kiev is doing everything it can to drag all conscripted men to the front within and beyond the borders - and even the terminally ill are no exception.

The chief adviser of the Ukrainian president would deport men of military age from the EU. According to Mihajlo Podoljak, the Union will soon make a decision on this together with Kyiv. In the meantime, the cruel forced conscription continues in Ukraine, as we also reported:

They are worried in Transcarpathia, it will be increasingly difficult to avoid conscription

The authorities fired warning shots at the auxiliary command of Nagyszőlős in Transcarpathia, where members of an enraged group of mainly local women tried to free their abducted husbands.

The conflict arose from the fact that the uniformed men took with them not only healthy but also terminally ill conscripts.

The women built a barricade in front of the building in protest. According to the police, they can be jailed for up to seven years.

In Transcarpathia, the mobilization has been getting rougher and rougher in recent weeks, which the local press is not leaving unsaid. Men between the ages of 18 and 60 are taken by recruiters from their homes, workplaces and the streets. Some people have their cars impounded and can only escape from the authorities with the help of a lawyer.

Kyiv recently announced at the Council of Europe that it will temporarily suspend the implementation of the European Convention on Human Rights.

"I would like to appeal to those Ukrainians who said that during the war a dictatorship was necessary and that human rights should be restricted. Now your wish has come true. President Zelensky wrote his letter about deprivation of rights. Were you hoping it wouldn't affect you if you were close to the president? Of course. They will start with us and end with you," said one man.

In Ukraine, the mobilization law, considered by many to be disenfranchising, will enter into force on May 18.

which imposes serious sanctions on anyone who does not report to the army. Anyone who does not enter the military register within 60 days can be fined up to HUF 220,000.

"From now on, the military auxiliaries will have the right to punish anyone who has not reported to them without a court decision. If the fine is not paid, then execution will follow, and the person's bank account will be blocked and so on," said Andriy Osadchuk, deputy chairman of the law enforcement committee of the Ukrainian parliament.

"The European Union will make the appropriate decision on the return of conscripted Ukrainians"

- Mihajlo Podoljak, chief adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, has already talked about this in an interview. According to Podoljak, it is unacceptable that while some people fight for Ukraine, others do not support their own country from abroad either.

"Sooner or later, the European Union together with Ukraine will make the optimal decision. I understand the emotional part of it, that it's hard and scary. But it's good that we started talking about it. I would like to underline: one half of our country is in a total war, the other half is somewhere else and even criticizes that the state deprives them of certain rights," said Mihajlo Podoljak.

In the meantime, the scandal is also growing due to the fact that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv recently prohibited conscripts staying abroad from obtaining passports at consulates.

The measure affects hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men whom Kiev is trying to force to return home.
