The Hungarian competitors won one gold and two bronze medals in the Saturday afternoon finals at the Kayak-Canoe World Cup in Szeged.
The Hungarians did not manage to stand on the podium in any of the events included in the Olympic program, but Bálint Kopasz, as the defending world champion, triumphed in the K-1 500 meters with great competition.
The two bronze medals went to Dávid Korisánszky (C-1,200 m) and the mixed canoe duo of Ágnes Kiss and Csanád Molnár (500 m). The championships - in which representatives of 63 countries compete - will last until Sunday on the Maty track. The Hungarian team currently has two gold, one silver and four bronze medals.
