The ultimate goal is to be on the side of the winners in the emerging new world order. Whoever can dominate Europe wins. This post-latest age does not yet have a name, but we can safely call it the "Age of Wolves."

Since the beginning of time, historical eras have followed each other. There was the conjectural prehistoric age, then the somewhat more transparent antiquity, then the dark, then a little lighter middle age. Finally, the new era came, which in communist times ended with the "Great October Socialist Revolution" that took place in November, but the new world order actually began after the Yalta conference. This was the so-called "latest age". Since then, we have seen that this too has ended. In 2022, the deck was reshuffled and new cards were dealt.

The ultimate goal is to be on the side of the winners in the emerging new world order. Whoever can dominate Europe wins. This post-latest age does not yet have a name. I arbitrarily called it the "Age of Wolves" at the beginning. After all, in my opinion, wolf laws already rule here. Kill to live and kill not to be killed. The "age of wars" has also been mentioned in several places, which cannot be correct because the entire history of mankind is about wars. It is a fact that the change was brought about by the outbreak of a serious war, and since then the guns have been constantly roaring.

Why? No one really knows for sure, although the answer is not that complicated

I'm going a little far, but there's a reason why. The One Belt One Road policy has been in force in China since 2013. Its goal is to connect China with Europe, along friendly countries. Friendly countries are the key because, as Robert C. Castel so aptly said, we don't lay pipes where the ground is shaking. The most important criterion is the safe delivery of the goods to their destination, and this has not really been ensured lately. Existing routes become problematic and new routes must be found instead. The Straits of Hormuz, the Straits of Aden, and the Suez Canal are causing more and more problems.

For quite some time, the Chinese have been trying to move goods from the sea back to land. Among other things, because of the distances. For example, the journey from the ports around Beijing to Hamburg via the South China Sea and the Suez Canal is 21,000 km. The same route, bypassing Russia from the north, is only 16,000 km, so climate change is not necessarily harmful for some circles. But if you look at it, it is even less with the Trans-Siberian railway line. Roughly 10,000 km.

Of course, "one zone one road" includes many roads, but there are the main directions. The wars of the present day broke out along these roads, and the battle for possession of these roads is ongoing.

The USA barricaded Europe from China and Russia with the help of its proxies. The Poland-Ukraine-Romania-Bulgaria-North Macedonia-Kosovo-Albania line is meant to protect Europe from Chinese-Russian influence, and with the help of this they are trying to maintain American hegemony. However, there are gaps in this shield, and they want to plug them with all kinds of means.

China's primary goal was to acquire the port of Piraeus in Greece, so that it would not be necessary to bypass all of Europe from the south to reach Rotterdam and Hamburg. The Budapest-Belgrade railway line is being built as part of this corridor, which would go to Piraeus, but the US was able to cut this line by first seizing Kosovo and then by conquering North Macedonia. Now the fight is going on for North Macedonia, because Kosovo is a bit difficult, but can be avoided. The most ideal way would be through Pristina, and the Americans know that. Bulgaria also commutes quite regularly between the two sides, so the Balkan defense line cannot be said to be perfect. But due to the existing problems, there will also be a new port in Trieste.

The main land route, as I have already mentioned, is the Trans-Siberian railway line, which was also cut in Manchuria to make the journey to Vladivostok even shorter. This line between Chita and Vladivostok has its center in the city of Harbin and is joined by the Chinese lines. From Cita, the road to Moscow is straight. And from Moscow via St. Petersburg you can see all of Europe.

Eurasian roads

However, there is an even shorter route, which is only 7-8 thousand km. And this leads through Central Asia. This is the road for which the roughest fights are fought. He leaves China at Alashankou towards Urumqi and crosses into Kazakhstan. Here it splits, and the northern road goes through Astana, touching Yekaterinburg, also to Moscow, but the southern one is more valuable. This goes to Almaty, through the "Istans" into Iran. Touching Tehran, it turns north and crosses the Caucasus. Or he would just cross over, because Turkey saw that the time had come to have a say in the game of the greats. Originally, the USA tried to mix things up in Georgia, but control got out of hand, and Turkey also became independent. Together with Azerbaijan, they attacked Armenia, if Georgia had already failed. With this, they wanted (they want) to take over the control of the Caucasus crossing. For now, there are partial successes, as the passage between Iran and Russia still exists. The ultimate goal of this journey is to reach the Black Sea and there, with the help of a good port, bypass the US defense line by sea. For now, Rostov is the destination, but Sevastopol is now a viable alternative, although the real one would be Odessa. That is why the Russian-Ukrainian war broke out. From there you could easily go to Piraeus or Trieste.

This road has further branches, which have also become sources of conflict. The most normal crossing between China, Pakistan and India is towards Kashmir, so it doesn't matter who dominates the province.

The cause of the war between Iran and Israel must be found in the Strait of Hormuz. This is the reason for the Arab-Israeli rapprochement. The countries of the Persian Gulf can only export oil to the sea through this strait, but if an agreement could be reached with the Jews, it would be possible to reach the Mediterranean via a pipeline through Jordan. This is the only intact harbor on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean. Lebanon and Syria are already a thing of the past. So this is a serious violation of interests that Iran cannot let go, and the order in Israel must be overturned as well. As they did in Yemen. That conflict is also due to the destruction of the crossing. It is not by chance that the passage between the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea is called the "Gate of Mourning" in Arabic. It's one of the busiest sea lanes in the world, but if it continues like this, it won't be for long.

But if the Suez Canal collapses, so will Egypt

We are still at the very beginning of the story, but there are already serious losers in the age of wolves. Their agony is already on. It's only a matter of time before they finally suffer. Examples include Ukraine, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, or Libya. But they were joined by Armenia and Georgia. They are no longer masters of themselves, and are only toys of the big ones in this whole thing. Egypt will join this team if the hegemony created by the Suez Canal ceases. This will be a more serious break in world history, since we are talking about a country of more than 100 million people, which is already on weak legs. The country's only option would be to build another canal, only 55 km long, and flood the nearly 20,000 km2 Kattara lowland below sea level with seawater. On the shores of which the water surface would cause the desert to disappear, and the population would not live in an area the size of Switzerland, in a country of 1 million km2. By comparison, the Suez Canal is 163 km long.

However, we do not know what will be the fate of Egypt and how the age of wolves will continue. The prospects are not good, but it seems that there is a solution for everything, you just have to want it. However, let's definitely break with the view of burying our heads in the sand if a vision of the future is too dark for our little sensitive souls. Let's put on the gloves and stand up for ourselves, because we have a say in whether we end up among the wolves or the lambs!
