The ardent supporter of the left-wing "messiah", Balázs Láng, and his supporters discussed the possible assassination of Viktor Orbán on their social media pages a few hours after the assassination of the Slovak Prime Minister. Some of the shocking comments said that the Hungarian prime minister deserved a similar fate as his Slovak counterpart.
An astonishing number of comments were made in a few hours on the social media pages of some left-wing politicians and their supporters about the assassination of the Slovak Prime Minister, Robert Fico. While it was not known whether the head of government of the neighboring state would survive, unclassifiable texts appeared under the posts of Hungarian opposition politicians in which they drew parallels between Robert Fico and Viktor Orbán and discussed a similar assassination attempt against the Hungarian prime minister as possible or even desirable about an event.
One of the pages with the most serious comments belongs to Balázsé Láng, who is an enthusiastic supporter of Péter Magyar and is otherwise a long-time left-wing supporter.
So let's first look at what Láng and his followers wrote for Hungarians Living Abroad on their feet! in a Facebook group called Verbatim quotes follow.
Balázs Láng: Everyone put your hand on your heart: what is your first thought? No, oh no, hurry up! – (He later rewrote the post: Fico is said to be between life and death. This is terrifying.)
After that, Láng spoke more cautiously, but continued to provoke the members of the group: "Poor Fico, it seems that the thread breaks sooner than the Slovaks."
In a longer comment, he expressed his hope that Fico would survive and recover from his injuries, but added:
"At the same time, I cannot abstract what happened from the hateful, divisive politics in which Fico's personal responsibility is unavoidable. This is a warning sign to everyone who does not see peace as the guiding principle in a society, but hate, the formation of enemies."
The commentators also jumped on the obvious parallel referring to Hungarian political life, and increasingly rude reactions came. Gyöngyi Zaleczki Takacs Trial: Balázs Láng indeed! Only the #HungarianBalga# !!! Robi Szanto: The horror of this is that, unfortunately, politicians, like Viktor, for example, can create such extreme emotions in me with their many years of vile activities, that if someone shot me, I wouldn't cry, in fact... And sorry, but you can thank yourself, they worked for it. They would have liked to be normal, honest, benevolent politicking people. But I didn't like them. Sorry…”
Then a person named József Bajusz also joined the discourse, who openly joked that he wanted to open champagne because he thought Viktor Orbán had been shot. "I already thought they were going to take the bottle, I put the champagne in the fridge, now I can take it out."
After that, let's recall who Balázs Láng is, who recently appeared around Péter Magyar and his party.
It is worth knowing about Láng that he has been helping the dollar left for a long time: in 2007, he was the communications director responsible for the government quarter of the Gyurcsány government - which was never built. Between 2017 and 2018, he was the editor of Hír TV for a year and a half (which at that time was still owned by Simicska). Here he worked together with his brother Magyar, Márton Magyar.
After the campaign, he moved to London and worked as a freelance journalist and communications specialist for nearly four years, but continued to participate in campaigns. He created a Facebook group called "English Hungarians for a change of government in 2022" and they also had their own website called Diasporaaid.co.uk. So he mobilized abroad for the sake of the dollar left.
After such antecedents, he ended up behind the stage at the demonstration on Kossuth Square on April 6, next to Péter Magyar. As he put it: "I came home and brought half the world with me..."
Later, in an interview with Klubrádio, Balázs Láng made several revealing statements about the financing background of Péter Magyar's youth.
– Many, many people (support) from abroad, (…) there is no need to explain whether it receives support from abroad, because it does! Flame stated. Although in another interview Magyar Hang tried to give the impression that he only views the activities of the new messiah of the left as an outsider, and that he has no "formalized relationship" with Péter Magyar, when asked by host György Bolgár he contradicted this: "Yes, I personally support Magyar I will also support Péter".
As mentioned above, Láng also mobilizes among Hungarians abroad in a Facebook group supporting Péter Magyar, where he spoke about the failure of the government and the imprisonment of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
It is noteworthy that Láng presents himself as a close adviser to Péter Magyar. Balázs Láng did not hide his political sympathy for the left in the club radio interview, where he also boasted that a few years ago he was the editor of the program of Olga Kálmán, who in the meantime had advanced to become a member of the DK parliament.
Bringing violence into political public discourse and threatening opponents is not far from Péter Magyar either. We can remember that a few days ago he said in a street forum: "I promise that if they continue this, then on June 8, 2024, we will not be so peaceful in Heroes' Square in Budapest, and we will not be stopped there."
In fact, he even joked about hanging politicians: "(...) and 8 politicians are hanging on a lamp post, I don't think it has a good connotation anyway, hanging politicians on a lamp post?! But how they think, I don't know, so it seems that the guys have a sense of humor."
The already quoted commentator József Bajusz, who joked that he almost broke champagne because he thought an assassination attempt had been committed against Viktor Orbán, can come to mind about the specific Hungarian sense of humor.
