Nine points that show China's world power ambitions

China is following a well-thought-out plan to become an unstoppable world power. With strategic discipline, Xi Jinping and his advisers are taking care of the development of armaments and the economy, as well as the expansion of culture. The West can choose between two options: passively observe the rise of the Far Eastern giant, or participate in it, wrote Gabor Steingart, senior staff member of the German Focus Magazine, in his note.
If there was one word to describe China's quest for world power and its spirit, it would be calm. The other characteristic indicator is strategic calmness - says Gabor Steingart in his previously published note.
The stoic calm with which the Chinese leadership acts does not come from the heat of the moment, nor is it due to the human characteristics of President Xi, but from foresight and planning that reaches to the sky.

China's ultimate goal is to replace America as the world's number one superpower

The unprecedented and impressive rise of the "Asian lion" is built around a nine-point plan, the stages of which are as follows:

  1. From now on, world peace can only be achieved together with China and not against China. To ensure this, the Far Eastern country is heavily armed with both conventional and nuclear weapons.
  2. China wants to become the custodian of economic growth in the world, so it strives for a leading role in technology. Controlling computer chips and data management is particularly important to Beijing.
  3. The basis of world power ambitions is the uncompromising control of the internal market, especially the automotive industry.
  4. The Chinese export machinery is perhaps the most effective weapon in the fight for world domination. In this view, everything is about market share, even without profit.
  5. There is no way China wants to allow Europe to become a sphere of economic influence for the United States. That is why he launched the New Silk Road (also known as: One Belt, One Road) project, which was also served by President Xi Jinping's recent European tour, which also included Budapest.
  6. Beijing has realized that a vacuum has been created in international politics and is trying to fill it. Unlike the West, China has an Africa strategy, which is also working.
  7. China also wants to shape the ambitions and culture of other nations, and this is where the expanded concept of Chinese world power emerges. TikTok director Shou Zi Chew's performance at the Met Gala in New York - in the midst of the ban process initiated by the US government - was sensational.
  8. A prerequisite for sustainable world power status is financial sovereignty. Therefore, China ensured that it had a financial background inaccessible to the USA.
  9. Domestic political unity is a condition for the strategy of the rise. Investments in the security apparatus are therefore meant to ensure China's rise. In Shanghai, with a population of 29 million, there were about 12.8 million public surveillance cameras in 2023, that is, one camera for every second resident.

We can admire or fear China's rise, but one thing we cannot do is ignore it.
