At the request of the Association of Christian Intellectuals, it has now become a tradition to ring prayer bells in our communities in connection with the anniversary of the Trianon Peace Edict. They want to continue this initiative this year, so they once again invite the Hungarian religious communities of the Carpathian Basin, regardless of denomination, to ring the bells in our churches on June 4, at 4:30 p.m. Hungarian time, and then pray for the unity of the Hungarian nation, the protection of the Christian faith and especially the for peace.

Bell ringing not only calls to prayer, conveys joy, celebrates victory, warns of danger or bids farewell to the dead, but is also a sign of life and proof of survival.

And on the day of national unity, ringing bells and praying together provides a special opportunity to experience and strengthen the unity of Hungarians, as well as to express sympathy for the historical pain, to connect the Christian Hungarian communities of the Carpathian Basin.

Let's pray together for the spiritual unity of Hungarians, for the strengthening of our Christian faith and for peace on June 4!
