And this is no joke.
A new horror movie parody is being made about Piglet, Winnie the Pooh's friend, who is traditionally depicted as a harmless character, but is now presented as a lone killer.
After Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, Piglet gets its own horror film inspired by Friday the 13th and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
"This new take on the well-known character Piggy combines elements of classic slasher films such as Friday the 13th and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," said the film's production team.
“We spared no expense to stay true to the practical effects roots of the genre and create a truly nightmarish experience. With the ensemble cast, Piggy is poised to become a cult film.”
The filmmakers also compared the upcoming work to the slasher film Motel Hell, in which one of the killers actually wears a pig's head at certain points. The plot synopsis also hints at a story that would fit well with the iconic slasher films of the 70s and 80s, except that the killer will be a character known as a family-friendly cartoon pig.
While the Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey movies feature other characters, the Piggy Movie looks like the title character will be the one-of-a-kind killer.
A trailer has not yet been made for the film, nor is there an official release date, but a poster has already been made for it:
