The first public debate between the two presidential candidates is approaching: Donald Trump and Joe Biden will face the cameras in a month.
According to the latest survey, there is a mood for a change of president in the United States, and from the point of view of world politics, the stakes of an American presidential election have never been as high as they are now.
Trump presented his program at the Libertarian National Convention in Washington on Saturday night.
"Building a coalition is an extremely important goal for Donald Trump both inside and outside the Republican Party. The most important message that politicians and guests at the Libertarian National Convention made clear was that they would not vote for Biden. This is good for Trump, the only question is how many will stand by him. If we only look at a third of his registered voters, then more people will vote for him than 4 years ago, when Joe Biden won in the battleground states," Rajmund Kiss, head of the diplomatic workshop of the MCC, told M1.
according to whom the broader coalition the former president can build in the coming weeks and months, the more certain he can be that he will win the presidential election.
According to the expert, if only a third of the Libertarian Party's estimated 750,000 voters, i.e. 250,000 people, support Trump, it could be crucial for the outcome of the election.
"However, what is even more important is that Trump needs to find as wide an audience as possible, since there is a strong mood of a change of president in the United States, it can be felt that people do not support the current policy. Coalition building requires guarantees and a credible charismatic politician.
People are disappointed because of migration policy, because of inflation and the economic situation, and also because of foreign policy, so the time is really ripe for change," explained Rajmund Kiss.
"And this is also very important for Hungary, because Trump said that he will end the conflict in the Middle East, and it is even more important for us, Hungarians, that he will initiate and, if necessary, lead peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine," declared the MCC the head of his diplomatic workshop, according to whom the public opinion poll published recently shows that
even in the so-called swing states, Donald Trump leads.
"We can safely say that the former president is balanced and stable, but November is still far away, until then a lot of water will flow not only on the Danube, but also on the Hudson River," Rajmund Kiss concluded.
