The Ukrainian army openly began its attack on Russia: Kursk came under fire.
The Ukrainian army carried out an organized attack against the military convoy of the Russian army. As is well known, Ukraine's Western backers almost completely lifted restrictions on Western weapons against Russia's internationally recognized territories last week, it seems.
Kiev has also begun to exert increased pressure on the border regions.
The Western and Kyiv rationale is: Ukraine is acting in self-defense, and the war was started by Russia, so legitimate military targets can be attacked on the other side of the border.
The video below was shot in the border region of Kursk: it shows Ukrainian army drones attacking a Russian military convoy. A convoy of unarmored trucks is visibly damaged, the crew tries to disperse, but Ukrainian drones hunt down the trucks one by one.

Part of the convoy was able to disperse and hide in the surrounding area after the first strikes, but it was also found and destroyed.

This is by no means the first time that Ukraine has attacked the territory of Russia, but until now these attacks have almost always been called the work of "Russian partisans" by Kiev and have not taken responsibility for them. Now, however, it has been openly admitted: the Ukrainian 53rd Brigade and 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade carried out the action.
