Rock musician Attila Pataky, singer of Edda, took part in Saturday's Peace March because of his children and grandson. All but one of the Peace Marches were present, and journalist András Bencsik, the editor-in-chief of Demokrata, was invited to the first one.

Vasárnap.hu , the musician revived the telephone conversation he had with András Bencsik at the time:

Attilám, come, this is your place!

invited Bencsik Pataky.

The singer of Edda also told A portál that he missed the Peace Procession only once, when he performed in Canada.

My grandfather told me about the First World War, my father about the Second World War, he even ended up being a Russian prisoner of war for two and a half years

- recalled Attila Pataky, who believed in peace: he explained that he came to the Peace March so that neither he, nor his children, nor his grandchildren would ever find themselves in a situation where they would one day have to tell about the Third World War.

There is nothing but peace, there can be no other. What is happening in Europe is terrifying. We hope that with the Peace March we will give such an impulse that we might stop this hysteria

- András Bencsik told the newspaper, who in response to a question added that the media now has an extremely important role:

spread the word that there is a country where hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets because they want peace

he said.
