The Pro Civitate association would bring new impetus to Diósd, and as a matter of fact, it would be suitable for it.
In the last ten years, two city governments had the opportunity to prove themselves in Diósd, but they failed, declared the mayoral candidate of the Pro Civitate association. András Dizzeri underlined: his association managed to nominate expert candidates who have already proven themselves in civil life and will be able to serve the settlement with sufficient commitment and honor.
"Time has stopped in Diósdon in the last ten years," declared the mayoral candidate of Pro Civitate - The City Association. András Dizzeri said that in the past period, he and his team talked to hundreds of Diósdi residents, during which it was once again proven: the intention and will of the population is clear, that change and new impetus are needed in the city. The mayoral candidate believes
Diósd currently has no owner, because the public areas are unkempt, the condition of many roads is catastrophic, and the city administration does not lobby for resources that can be used for development.
According to him, the latter is well illustrated by the civic picnic organized two years ago by the association, which was attended by Miklós Dukai, the state secretary responsible for self-government, and Csaba Latorcai, deputy minister of public administration and regional development. Although the current mayor was also invited to the event, he did not participate. András Dizzeri pointed out: there is no sign that the city administration is lobbying for Diósd in all possible forums.
Your nut is full
"Unfortunately, we are in the 24th hour to prevent the complete development of Diósd, as well as to allow the settlement to become a green, family-friendly garden city," pointed out the mayoral candidate. According to him
the first step in Pro Civitate's program is to introduce a ban on changes to green space.
"There are two reasons for this." One is that Diósd has wonderful features, but there are fewer and fewer green areas, and the development of existing green areas is to the detriment of the residents, since the infrastructure of the settlement can no longer support it, and on the other hand, Diósd is losing the very charm that makes people like to live here he explained. He believes that the settlement will become more and more crowded with the development, and that the institutional network will find it increasingly difficult to follow these changes.
It can be said unequivocally: Diósd is full!
- stated András Dizzeri, then added: everyone who moves to the settlement is warmly welcomed, but at the same time it must be realized that the increase in the number of people moving in is already at the expense of the people living here. "However, the current city administration would not only have hindered the growth of the population, but would have even helped it," he underlined.
The mayoral candidate recalled: there was a large area next to the municipal building, which was not his property, but he had ordered a ban on changes to it several cycles ago. - The purpose of this was that, in a lucky situation, the municipality could buy it and create a beautiful, worthy settlement center - he explained, and then stated:
The biggest sin of the current cycle was that the ban on changes was removed from Diósd, which was already being integrated. Residential buildings have already started to be built there, taking away from the residents of Diósdia the possibility of a nice public park, playground and a cultural center to be built there in this part of the city center.
András Dizzeri believes that in the last ten years, two city administrations had the opportunity to prove themselves, but without success. Despite this, both formations, in a slightly modified form, are trying to win the favor of the voters again.
According to him, the moral conditions are well characterized by the fact that the current mayor, in order to retain power, even entered into an alliance with the representative whom he previously criticized sharply and proved his incompetence. – We are not guided by unprincipled political bargains, but by the love of Diosd. Also, the goal is to give new impetus to the settlement, he stated.
The expert team, which has already proven itself in the civil sector
The mayoral candidate emphasized that one of their important promises, the reduction of the noise affecting Diósd from the M0 motorway, was already achieved before the elections. - Thanks to our initiative and with the help of parliament member András Aradszki, the noise level can be reduced within days - said András Dizzeri.
According to him, Pro Civitate has created a long-term program for Diósd: the Magyar Gyula program, in which they want to realize the dream of the European-famous plant breeder who once lived in Diósd, to make our place of residence a green, flowery settlement. The mayoral candidate highlighted:
the Pro Civitate association managed to nominate expert candidates who have already proven themselves in civil life and will be able to serve the settlement with sufficient commitment and honor.
- Nursery director, school director, public education specialist, grant writer, former professional athlete and university student - the candidate for mayor mentioned a few examples. Among the latter is the youngest representative candidate, whose surname may sound familiar to many: Ádám Vidnyánszky.
The young candidate used to be a professional footballer, and his father is the general manager of the National Theatre. He is currently a student at the National University of Public Service, majoring in political science, and also works as an entrepreneur.
I want to do it for the community that has become part of my everyday life
- said the representative candidate to our paper about his initiative. He believes
the current city administration has not solved many tasks, which in many cases are only a matter of will and attention rather than money.
As an example, he mentioned the development of a traffic concept that helps residents to travel safely. - Many times the cars, even though there are 30 signs, slalom between the children, ignoring the speed limits. In addition, it is a serious problem that there are no sidewalks on several busy roads, thereby putting pedestrians at risk - noted Ádám Vidnyánszky.
He named one of the city's major problems as the lack of public spaces where residents - especially young people - could meet, which is why they go to the surrounding settlements to relax.
- It is important that Diósdia residents have the opportunity to have fun locally that does not disturb others. Therefore, one of the goals of Pro Civitate is to be able to create a public park and a community club in the areas that have not yet been built on, underlined the representative candidate, and then added:
in this matter, the association would also cooperate with local sports clubs, in whose buildings young people would also be able to spend quality time in a way that would not affect the tranquility of the surrounding residents.
Ádám Vidnyánszky stated: - The basis of all this is the involvement of the population in the life of the municipality, so that they can directly help and even provide advice to the work of the city administration.
