A new leader had to be chosen to head the board because former president Tamás Sulyok became president of the republic in March.
The Parliament elected Imré Juhász as the new president of the Constitutional Court (Ab) on Tuesday. In the secret ballot, Imre Juhász - who has been a constitutional judge since 2013 - received 137 yes, 5 no and 5 abstention votes. A two-thirds majority is required to elect the president of the AB.
