Volodymyr Zelensky continues to publish his speeches daily. In these, he thanks you for the support, but accuses you again and again.
"At the request of Ukraine, the peace summit will reconvene in Switzerland, but Russia is still not invited. According to the Ukrainian president, only his ten-point plan can be the basis of peace, and the task of the participants is to force Russia to do so. Even Swiss President Viola Amherd stated that the meeting cannot be successful without Russia. Meanwhile, Switzerland rejected another 5.6 billion dollars in aid to Ukraine. China was invited at the presidential level, but Beijing said it was representing the country at a lower level.
After Zelensky lectured China, participation was cancelled. This is also sad because China's peace plan, which was previously presented together with Brazil, was supported by forty-five countries within a few hours. (…)
The Russians - through Putin - reacted at the St. Petersburg forum. It has been announced that Western advisers in Ukraine are legitimate targets and that the Russian leadership is thinking about handing over to the British and anti-American forces similar weapons that are used to shoot Russian territories from Ukraine. Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO, stated that Western weapons are considered Ukrainian from the moment they are handed over, so according to the Russians, the opposite is also true for the handed over Russian weapons.
Putin asked that since the term of the Ukrainian president expired on May 20 and there were no new elections, who would be the legitimate negotiating partner in the future. (…)
In Turkey, annual inflation is seventy-five percent, yet Turkish tourism is booming, mainly due to the Russian tourists traveling there, and the military and construction industries are also at their peak. In the country's local elections, the ruling party could only get second place and became the opposition mayor of all five major Turkish cities. However, the next parliamentary elections are far away. They will take place in four years. In such a situation, the cooperation of the three central powers of the region (Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia) became close.
Turkish-Syrian relations have become strained as Syria calls for the withdrawal of Turkish troops from its territory. The Turkish goal is to prevent the Kurdish elections, and it was temporarily successful. Under Iranian pressure, the Turks severed diplomatic relations with Israel. The conflict in Gaza also continued. Although Israel managed to free another four hostages, its two strategic goals (eliminating Hamas and bringing all the hostages home) still did not happen. Israel has to count on further international isolation and the possibility of a full-scale war either in the West Bank or in the north at the Lebanese border. June is not characterized by peace either. Maybe the American presidential election in November will bring about a change."
