The Russian president demands that Ukraine withdraw from four regions and reject NATO membership.

In line with the G7 summit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Russian President Vladimir Putin again proposed a ceasefire, with conditions .

Putin demands that Ukraine withdraw from four eastern Ukrainian regions (Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia) and that Kiev formally rejects Ukraine's NATO membership.

The Russian president specifically emphasized:

if Ukraine complies, Russia will immediately end the fighting.

Putin added that this proposal is not about a temporary ceasefire or freezing the conflict, but about a "final solution".

The Russian head of state also expects Ukraine to commit to neutrality and non-nuclear weapons, as well as the lifting of sanctions against Russia.
