The Magyarverő antifa also wants to deal with our country in the European Parliament, while it still hasn't begun to pay off its huge accumulated debt.
According to the right-wing Italian press, Italy could take Hungary as an example: our country immediately complied with granting the right of immunity to Ilaria Salis, against whom the leader of the Liguria province has been under house arrest in Italy for weeks without trial.
An army of journalists was waiting for Ilaria Salis, returning from Hungary, in front of her home in Monza.
The anti-fascist, who was elected as a member of the European Parliament last weekend, was arrested in Budapest in February 2023 after, according to the indictment, he and several friends beat people to death on the street, who were selected based on their clothing. The far-left activist entered the election with 4 final judgments and 29 complaints behind him.
The Italian press cites Hungary as an example, which granted immunity to Salis despite the fact that it did not agree with him, but respected EU law. They also point out that antifa is traveling to Strasbourg with a salary of millions, while the governor of Liguria, Giovanni Toti, has been under house arrest in Italy for weeks without trial.
According to one of the leaders of the party that nominated Salis, the Meloni government is fascist and did not help them in the Salis case.
Angelo Bonelli, representative of the Alliance of Leftists and Greens, said that Salis will fight for democracy, the rule of law and civil rights in Europe, which he will start with Hungary.
However, Ilaria Salis, who became a representative, accumulated a huge debt years ago when she illegally occupied a property in Milan and did not pay 90,000 euros, or approximately HUF 36 million, to the municipality. The Italian public is eagerly waiting to see when it will begin to pay off its debt from the million-dollar parliamentary salary.
