Péter Magyar convinces his voters with a long explanation to let him take up his EP mandate.
It was revealed earlier that, according to Péter Magyar, the Hungarian football fans have been singing a song in his honor for years, according to Péter Magyar, but now we have also learned that the European People's Party specifically wants to woo him with "important committee positions".
At least something like that was revealed in the latest post of the vice president of the Tisza party, in which he convinces his voters to let him take up his EP mandate as leader of the list, which he otherwise did not want to take up until now.
According to Magyar, he has the most weight among his candidates, with whom they are happy to negotiate in the People's Party, but he raises the question that if this is not true for the others, what will they do in Brussels for 5 years?
It is memorable: at first he firmly ruled out entering the political field, and then Péter Magyar became the leader of the EP list, who later renounced his mandate in advance.
And now he is convincing his followers that the 10,000 euros monthly honorarium would still be useful if there was someone in the Tisza faction with whom the People's Party colleagues were willing to talk.
According to Magyar, influential politicians and consultants are persuading him to train in Brussels for the change of government in 2026, instead of (in addition to) the operation of domestic revolutionaries/pyramid schemes.
In his Hungarian post, he also writes that the work in Brussels would not only hinder the preparation of the change of government, but could also build "important international relations" in Brussels, and then he added:
it is a completely common practice in the EU countries that the leader of the opposition that changes the government is made up of members of the European Parliament (sic!) (see the case of Donald Tusk - ed.)
Péter Magyar has therefore returned to the stove, as far as the opposition's government change strategy is concerned: he prepares in Brussels, and then fulfills the imperial will back home. His followers can even vote on all this, on the side of the Tisza Party, because Magyar is trying to legitimize breaking his promise with his followers.
