The song is over since autumn, László Böröcz, the newly elected mayor of the 1st district, promises that he will start tidying up as soon as he takes office. There is no place for violent or indecent acts in public areas, as well as smoking, drinking alcohol and smoking pipes. There will be order in the capital's most shabby district, he promised in a statement to Metropol.
"We will strengthen the supervision of public areas, we will introduce a parking system. We will constantly monitor the condition of public areas and intervene as soon as possible where necessary"
László Böröcz told Metropol. The newly elected mayor emphasized that it is an important part of putting the district in order so that there are no homeless people in public areas. This means that starting in October, there will be no question of anyone doing their small or big business on the street or having a sexual life in front of everyone. Those who need help must be helped, but the city district cannot be allowed to become unlivable, the city dwellers are harassed.
It seems that a new world will begin in District I from October, and there is no place in it for people who aggressively bark on the streets and squares, make drunken threats or urinate in public, do their big business or engage in sexual acts, or commit public indecency.
We will act very decisively so that these types of acts cannot be done in public areas and that everyone can use them as intended. Unfortunately, by now, careless people with such behavior have appeared in the vicinity of Vérmező, Batthyány tér, Vásárcsarnok, but most recently also in Mária tér. In many cases, they do their small and large tasks while sitting on or near the benches, which also entails health risks. That's why we will immediately eliminate this situation with the involvement of specialists, the police and the public area supervision
– emphasized László Böröcz.
According to Böröcz, mayor Márta V. Naszályi and the left-wing city administration swept these problems under the carpet for years, they allowed everything, and as a result the situation gradually got worse and worse. As is well known, no matter how anyone called the public area supervision in vain, for example the resident who bumped into a couple having oral intercourse with a tube in front of the pediatrician's office, the public area officer answered him: it is their responsibility not to act against the homeless.
An indecency violation occurred in front of the pediatrician's office. In addition, when the resident called on the party not to do this there, the man pulled a knife
- reminded Böröcz and added:
"We'll fix it!"
