Defending champions Italy reached the round of 16 at the European Football Championship in Germany as they drew 1-1 with Croatia in the third round of the group stage on Monday, finishing second in Group B.
Since the four best of the six third-placed teams also advance, even the Croatians can hope, but they finished third with two points, while the Hungarian national team earned three points in Group A.
