The opposition media continues to try to tune the population against the capital of the East, but this time they have been thoroughly wrong.

On Friday, 24.hu published an article in which they claimed that despite the fact that many Asian large-scale investments are realized in Hungary, the investors usually dictate unacceptable conditions, and ultimately the Hungarian construction industry is doing badly. With such and similar analyses, they try to create the impression that the government is essentially working against the Hungarian construction industry. Government Commissioner István Joó, CEO of the National Investment Agency (HIPA), on his social media page , refuting them categorically.

Contrary to the newspaper's claims, the CEO wrote in his post that specific numbers were requested for Asian projects worth several billions, which proved that these companies usually work with Hungarian construction industry players between 70-100%. These are therefore large investments from which the Hungarian construction industry also benefits, in a patriotic way. In essence, the reality is the exact opposite of what the opposition portal tried to suggest to its readers.

Again fake news and incitement against Eastern investors

- began the CEO of HIPA in his post.

"In connection with the construction of the Chinese CATL plant in Debrecen, 70 percent of the works tendered so far were taken by Hungarian companies. In the case of the also Chinese Semcorp, which is being built in the same industrial park, this value is 90 percent. 70 percent of the Korean SK plant in Iváncsi was built by Hungarian companies," he added.

At the Chinese CPMC's plant in Makó, the works that have been tendered so far have been entirely won by a Hungarian company. Would that be zero participation?! The reality is, therefore, that Hungarian companies, and thus the budget as well, receive significant income already during the implementation of the investments.

- stressed the government commissioner.
