Water pistols were seized in several baths in the country on Saturday.
After last year's success, the Hungarian Bathing Association announced the National Water Pistol Battle and record attempt for the second time this year. The essence of this was that on Saturday, July 6, between 2 and 3 p.m., the guests in about forty spas across the country stuck water pistols at the same time and fought a huge battle.
The Hajdúszoboszló spa joined the record attempt this year as well. Enikő Czegle-Pinczés, the CEO of Hungarospa, said that last year they had the most people, more than a thousand of them grabbed some sort of water weapon.
We didn't manage to beat this this year, but we came close to last year's number, hundreds of people water pistoled at the same time in the Mediterranean pool, he said.
On the Aquaticum Beach in Debrecen, a plush elephant was the main target for beachgoers. This spa announced on Sunday morning that most people fought in Debrecen this year.
Although the record could not be broken, around five hundred people used water guns at the same time in the adventure pool in Debrecen.
