Attacks by migrants are becoming more frequent in Western Europe: this time a serious case was reported in the French city of Marseille. According to French newspaper information, a young man who looked North African attacked a man in his 60s with a knife.
The attack took place at the city's Saint Charles subway station around 10:30 p.m.
The 20-year-old man became enraged when he made comments to his girlfriend, implying that she put her foot on the seat. The young man then fell on his victim, who suffered injuries to his arm and abdomen, even though he tried to defend himself with tear gas.
According to French newspaper reports, the perpetrator can be identified and an investigation has been launched into the case, the latest news is that both young people have escaped and are being rounded up.
