The aim of the 2024/2025 internship program is to acquaint young people who embrace civic, national and Christian values ​​and are active in public life with the operation and professional work of the Fidesz – Hungarian Civil Alliance party foundation and, through this, with Hungarian public life.

What they offer:

- participation in the Foundation's day-to-day operations and activities (events-training, press monitoring, translation, correspondence, building civil relations);

- insight into the organization's scientific and educational work (systematization, preparation of background materials and analyses);

- opportunity to participate in diverse, interesting and professional development events, in the most diverse areas: political topics, international relations, political communication;

– domestic preparatory weekend, study trips;

– for our dedicated interns, a study trip to the PMA representation in Brussels, the opportunity to participate in the Prime Minister's Annual Review and the Kötcsei Meeting.

What to expect:

- at the time of submitting the application and expectedly throughout the academic year 2024/25, the applicant has an active student relationship with a higher education institution - within the framework of a bachelor's or master's program - and has at least two completed semesters;

– at least a 4.0 academic average in the spring semester of the 2023/2024 academic year;

– public activity and basic political awareness;

- at least intermediate knowledge of English and/or German, proven by a state-recognized language exam certificate;

- good communication ability;

- user-level computer skills.

Description of the internship program:

– the 9-month internship program (from October 2024 to June 2025) can be divided into two phases. For a 3-month active period and a 6-month professional period requiring occasional availability;

- during the selected 3-month active period, the program requires approximately 10 hours of personal presence per week at the Foundation's headquarters in Budapest, as well as mandatory participation in their events;

– in addition to the 3-month active period, there will be monthly mandatory programs during the 6-month professional period requiring occasional availability;

– The amount of the scholarship: HUF 100,000 net/month for the 3-month active period + HUF 100,000 net once at the end of the 9 months if the terms of the contract are met.

- The amount of support during the entire duration of the 9-month internship program is HUF 400,000 net.

Simultaneously with the submission of the applicant's application, indicate at least two 3-month periods suitable for office work of ten hours per week from among the following:

  • October 2024 - December 2024
  • January 2025 - March 2025
  • April 2025 - June 2025

The preferred duration can be overridden by the program organizer.

– fully completed and signed application form and signed data management declaration;

– a professional resume with a photo;

– the 2023/2024. a document certifying the weighted average of the second semester (spring) of the academic year, certified by the study department or generated from Neptun;

– 2024/2025. certificate of student status for the fall semester of the academic year, signed by the department of study (submission can be replaced by September 14 if justified);

– a copy of a diploma already obtained (if the applicant has one);

– copy of language test certificate(s);

– a signed professional recommendation from a lecturer at the university;

– a signed letter of recommendation from a public figure;

- cover letter.
