Viktor Orbán successfully brought together one of Europe's oldest coalitions by creating the Patriots for Europe faction - Mandiner Politico article .
The Brussels newspaper joked that the new party family founded by the Hungarian Prime Minister Herbert Kickl and Andrej Babis is, in their opinion, as if they had re-created the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, which once included Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic.
The paper mocked that since during the former Habsburg Empire's more than six centuries of existence, our country was considered second fiddle to Austria, so now Viktor Orbán is confident that this situation can change in Hungary's favor.
Eduard Habsburg reacted to the news almost immediately on X.
