Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held talks with Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, on Thursday evening as the next stop of his peace mission, Bertalan Havasi, the prime minister's press chief, informed MTI.
The discussion, which took place in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, discussed the possibilities of peace, the statement said.
Viktor Orbán also posted about the meeting on his social media page: he shared a joint photo with Donald Trump and wrote:
“Negotiations with President Trump on peace. The good news of the day: he will solve it!"
Donald Trump shared Viktor Orbán's post on his social media page with the following text:
Thank you Victor. There must be peace, and soon. Too many people died in a war that should never have started.
