The heat alarm does not prevent the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix to be held this weekend, which awaits the competitors and fans in a partly renewed environment at the Hungaroring.

The tickets for Sunday were already sold out in January, so there will definitely be a full house on the day of the race at the 39th Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, where the winning constructor and podium finishers will once again receive awards produced by the Herend Porcelánmanufaktúra.

At the Monday press conference for the weekend event at the Hungaroring, Zsolt Gyulay, the president and CEO of Hungaroring Sport Zrt., said that the first stage of the development, which was announced in connection with the contract extension until 2032 signed on last year's race weekend, has been completed.

The development of the utility network has been completed, and the main entrance and the building there have been completed, so there is a worthy reception center, the internal works of which will continue until November 30, Zsolt Gyulay announced and added,

the area behind the so-called Super Gold tribune, located in the finish line, has been expanded, mainly due to the territorial demand of the entertainment programs accompanying the Hungarian Grand Prix.

"The area of the paddock has become 19 meters wider, this work has also ended, but this year we will only use the part that we have used so far. The pit stop in turns 4 and 12 has been renovated, and the main building, which has been standing since 1986, will be demolished after the race, the new one will be nine meters wider, because larger garages will be built. We will practically say goodbye to the main building this weekend," said the president and CEO.

Zsolt Gyulay also revealed that, like the other facilities on the F1 race calendar, the Hungaroring also commemorates the three-time world champion Ayrton Senna, who died in a tragic accident thirty years ago, so the Brazilian flag will be flying the S-turn, commonly known as the legendary driver, for this weekend. it is painted green-yellow according to its colors.

"In the next phase of the renovation, we will also demolish the main stand, but the two tunnels that will lead from the paddock to the Super Gold grandstand are already structurally ready. In the area behind the main grandstand, many entertainment programs are waiting for the spectators this time, and there will be a 60-meter high bungee jumping tower, from the top of which the track will be visible from a different perspective," stated Zsolt Gyulay, who also spoke about the fact that due to the weekend's heat warning, and the organizers prepare with water.

The CEO was reluctant to predict the winner of Sunday's race, but said that if he had to name a name, he would choose Lando Norris, the McLaren driver.

The prizes for the podium finishers and the winning constructor were presented at the press conference. The neoclassical style vases made by the Herend Porcelain Manufactory have a special Far Eastern motif called Imperial Peony

As Simon Attila, the CEO of the company, said, the pattern is a stylized green rose with plant tendrils and leaves, the base color of the trophy is beige, and the silhouette of the Hungaroring appears in its mirror.

The winning designer will be able to take home a Herend decorative bowl with the same pattern, the openwork edge of which, on the porcelain lace made with a special technique, echoes the colors of the Hungarian national flag.

The awards are decorated with 18-carat matte gold, each of them is handmade, and their total value is tens of millions of forints.

At the press conference, Zsolt Gyulay and Zoltán Pafféri, president and CEO of the MÁV-Volán group, signed a strategic agreement for the next three years. In this, the transport company and the Hungaroring agreed on joint communication, the launch of special flights and the sale of special ticket products.

Our common goal is for the fans to leave the driving of the cars to the professional drivers and come to the track with public transport, because it is both simpler and more environmentally friendly -

announced Zoltán Pafféri, who said that the so-called Vármegye24 daily ticket will be available for HUF 999, also known as the F1 Travel Pass due to foreign pushers, and the easiest way to buy these is through the MÁV application.
