Gál Kinga: the boycott is clearly part of Ursula von der Leyen's election campaign

The European Commission has announced that it will boycott the Hungarian EU presidency, which is clearly part of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen's election campaign, Gál Kinga, the president of the Fidesz European Parliament (EP) group, wrote on X on Monday.

We are already used to him using EU institutions for political blackmail and pressure, especially against Hungary, he added.

This is unacceptable and goes against the essence of European cooperation
