There are 65,000 keys on display in the building, but other thematic exhibitions await those interested.
The Key Museum, featuring the world's largest collection of keys, opened in Bonn. The dream of Bálin Restár - who moved to Hungary from the Highlands and has been living here for two years - has come true, Sonline wrote .
Bálint Restár started collecting keys five years ago, and as a result of his passion, he created the world's largest collection of keys. The museum building was renovated two years ago, and it took a year and a half to arrange the various rooms and categorize the objects. The exhibition presents not only keys, but also locks and padlocks.
This collection is unique in the world, I have already received the diploma from the Hungarian Records Association
- told the portal the collector, whose next goal is to obtain recognition for the Guinness record.
The objects in the museum provide an overview of the history of the key, and visitors can also see objects from the past 150 years grouped into different groups, such as former doctor's office supplies, pharmacy supplies, an old kitchen furnished, carpentry tools with a vise, barber shop supplies, an old school desk with blackboard, old prams, children's bikes, porcelain and many other interesting things.
