The third hero of the story was the rescue operator, who is also expecting a baby.

The National Emergency Service (OMSZ) reported a touching case on its social media page. A father helped his child to birth in Budapest under the guidance of their telephone dispatcher.

As it was written, a young, 39-week-old mother in Budapest recently started having pains in the afternoon. The events quickly accelerated, so the woman's partner asked for the help of the rescuers, and then examined the mother-to-be according to the instructions of the comrade in charge of the rescue. They then prepared together to conduct the birth until the nearest ambulance was called.

In their post, they recalled that although the husband was very frightened, with the help of the lifeguard's firm and reassuring words and precise instructions

in just a few minutes, she gave birth to her 3rd child, who immediately started crying.

Ambulances arrived at the scene and examined the little girl and her proud mother, who were finally transported to the hospital in a stable condition.

Pregnant mother helped pregnant mother

The grateful father even thanked the rescue director in a letter for his help: "Things sped up quite quickly, so we also realized that without the help of rescuers, our little girl would be born in my hands. That way, we were only in contact with the rescue manager, who helped very calmly and professionally," said the father.

They added that a particularly interesting feature of the story is that the rescue manager is a pregnant mother herself,

and the incident happened during one of her last shifts before going on maternity leave.

At the end of the post, the staff of the OMSZ wished the newborn a happy and healthy life, and congratulated the parents and those involved in the rescue.
