The headmaster of the victim immediately informed the school principal, who reported the case to the police, and the school guard was immediately removed from his job.

The Budapest IV. and XV. The District Prosecutor's Office brought charges against a 45-year-old school guard who surrounded a seventh-grade girl for the crime of sexual abuse committed by ineffectual coercion and the crime of child pornography by holding a pornographic recording, the District Prosecutor's Office announced on Thursday.

From January 2023, the man worked as a school security guard in an elementary school in Budapest, and during his work as a security guard, he developed a direct style with the students.

In the process, he had regular conversations with one of the seventh-grade, 13-year-old students, and kept in touch with her personally and through an Internet social portal.

The defendant took advantage of the relationship of trust in February 2023

he touched the little girl in an indecent manner in the school corridor and invited her to the nearby washroom, where he made a sexual offer to her,

which he repeated to the girl who rebuffed him that same day via the messaging application.

The defendant met the girl again in the corridor of the school the next day after classes and, touching her again, made another sexual offer to her, read the prosecutor's statement.

The victim's class teacher also found out about the incident and informed the school principal, who filed a report with the police, and the man was immediately removed from the school.

After that, the police conducted a search at the suspect's residence, where they found (about 100) pornographic recordings of minors under 18 but over 14 on his hard drives.

In the indictment, the district prosecutor's office proposed that the man with no criminal record be sentenced to prison and that the court permanently prohibit him from practicing any occupation or other activity during which he could come into contact with minors.

The punishment that can be imposed on the man is - subject to the cumulative rules - imprisonment from one to seven and a half years.
