In addition to the artisans' products, children's programs, concerts, a fashion show, a dance hall and dance performances await visitors between August 17 and 20.

On the occasion of the Hungarian-Turkish cultural season, the guest of honor of this year's event is Turkey, and its main theme is Turkish influences in Hungarian folk art.

About twenty creative artists are coming from Turkey and will present, among other things, ebru painting, during which patterns are displayed on paper with the help of paint poured on top of a pot of water. Turkish calligraphers, felt and puppet makers, as well as weavers, coppersmiths and glassblowers, folk musicians and folk dancers will also come to the festival. Those interested can learn about the similarities found in Turkish and Hungarian folk decorative arts in several visual workshops and craft demonstrations.

visitors can choose from the works of a thousand folk artists and artisans, and in more than a hundred visual workshops they can learn about the mysteries of the ancient trades and the work of the craft communities of the Carpathian Basin.

In the Women's Workshop, folk handicrafts, decorations, and embroideries of Galgamente are presented. In the Székkötő workshop, those interested can see how the seat of a chair is made with traditional Swabian knitting from Baranya, but they can learn about the white embroidery techniques of Hetés, Letenye or Zala and the history of Pannonia lace.

On Dísz tér, at the Fabatka porta folk playground of the House of Traditions, children's playground, craft activities, concerts, dance hall, storytellers and old-time games await families. The Bihari Folk Art Association's Góré folk playhouse and Bodorka's folklore kitchen are also preparing programs for the event.

Among others, István Pál Szalonna and his band, the Kálmán Balogh Gipsy Cimbalom Band, Mária Petrás and his band, Sára Tímár and his band will perform on the Szentháromság tér main stage.

On August 20, the organizers welcome St. Stephen's Day and the Feast of New Bread with a harvest parade and a blessing of bread.

Uzbek, Kazakh, Korean, Mongolian, Turkmen, Chinese, English and Polish masters will also come to the festival. A calligrapher from China, a carpet weaver from Uzbekistan, a miniature painter, a jewelry maker and a master bell maker are the guests of the event, and the audience can learn about traditional hanji making from Korea. A craftsman from the UK demonstrates the traditional hand-making of historic and contemporary felt hats.
