Fearing a boycott, the alcohol producer stops favoring minorities. Jack Daniel's no longer wants to be an employer where white men in particular feel discriminated against.

The American alcohol company Brown-Forman has announced to its employees that it will end its Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) program. The company that distributes, among other things, the Jack Daniel's whiskey brand, will thus end discrimination against white employees, writes based on Junge Freiheit .

According to the company's justification: "The world has evolved, our business and the legal and other environment have changed dramatically, especially in the United States."

The LGBTQ lobby reacted to the turn by calling for a boycott.

Previously, at Brown-Forman, vacancies had to be filled by members of allegedly discriminated groups such as homosexuals, transgender people, blacks, the disabled, and women before a white person would get a chance. This mainly adversely affected white, heterosexual men.

The Kentucky-based maker of Jack Daniel's also announced it will no longer participate in the Human Rights Campaign's LGBTQI "Corporate Equality Index." This is how the lobby group tests how companies treat queer people. Preference for minorities was especially criticized by American conservatives.bud

With this, the American company is following in the footsteps of the motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson, which discontinued its similar programs a few days ago. Here, too, the DEI campaign was disapproved by the predominantly conservative clientele.

The slogan "Go woke, go broke" first hit "Bud Light" beer last year. After a big-name beer brand used a trans person as an influencer, there was such a huge outcry among customers that the drinks were simply dumped in supermarkets.
