In 2016, the Danube-Dráva National Park Administration, as the operator of the Mohács National Monument, started organizing the creation of a pilgrimage route II. On the route of King Louis' army from Érd to Mohács. The idea was inspired by the initiative of the Royal Hungarian Military History Museum in 1926, because at the request of the head of the institution at the time, Lieutenant Colonel Kamill Aggházi, commemorative plaques were placed in the settlements where the army was encamped.

Between 1926-28, memorial sites were inaugurated in Érd, Ercsi, Dunapentel (Dunaújváros), Dunaföldvár, Tolna, Szekszárd, Báta and Dunaszekcső. The special feature of the commemorative plaques is that they all contain events related to the army on the day they were camped there. Thus, we can consider the signs as a kind of "educational trail" spanning several counties.

Every year, the group of historical traditionists starts the Érd II on August 23. Lajos monument, then they will visit them one by one and tie national-colored ribbons on the memorial plaques, and finally, on August 29, they will arrive at the Mohács National Memorial, where they will pay tribute to our soldiers defending our country with a memorial ceremony.

This year's special feature is that, for the first time, historical tradition keepers will present a XVI. they row the route along the Danube in a 19th-century ship, and arrive at Dunaföldvár at the Danube promenade at 1:30 p.m. on August 28, where the national flag will be placed next to the national flag. At the event, those interested can get to know the costumes of the time, as well as the life of early modern sailors.
