They also pointed out that in 2024, all major professional recognitions were given to Villány winemakers, as Tamás Günzer became the Wine Producer of the Year, and József Bock received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Gere Attila Family Winery farms 75 hectares. They cultivate 7,200 vines per hectare in an area highly suitable for red wine production, on which they have been farming organically since 2010. The winery only uses its own yeast strains for fermentation.
