A fifteen-year-old youth from Syria first molested his twelve-year-old victim in the water and then raped her in the dressing room. The police are investigating the matter.
The crime took place on August 10 in an amusement park in Braunschweig. According to the prosecutor acting in the case and the spokesperson of the authorities, the teenager first molested the 12-year-old child at the bathing place. However, the situation worsened in the dressing room when he raped her, reports the t-online news portal.
Braunschweiger Zeitung reports that police initially did not publicize the case because the alleged rape victim was too young.
The prosecutor's office confirmed to the t-online portal that the investigation into the August 10 crime is ongoing.
