Facebook trolls, those commenters who bad-mouthed their overworked colleagues, were remedied.

Due to the atrocities committed against the employees of the National Directorate General of Water, the organization decided to delete merely insulting and defamatory comments on its social media page. They reassured everyone that they understood what they were doing and knew exactly how much responsibility was on their shoulders in relation to the incoming tidal wave and the retention of the water.

Due to the Mediterranean cyclone reaching Hungary and the region, flood preparedness has been introduced in many places, and according to the forecasts, we can expect several months of rainfall in the space of a few hours in the next few days.

This and the mass of water coming down from the Austrian and German catchment areas also reach the rivers in Hungary and can even cause floods. The specialists of the National Directorate General of Water are working almost non-stop to keep the incoming price wave under control, but they did not want to tolerate the comments of the commentators any longer, so they came to the conclusion that

from now on, we will immediately delete comments on the OVF website that use derogatory, humiliating, or obscene expressions on water specialists.

In the post, they explain that they are doing everything they can regarding water retention, but they can only take action in those areas that are considered the domain of the Water Affairs Department. However, the Ministry of Water cannot solve the problems on its own - as they wrote - and therefore "the joint work with the other actors started a long time ago".

They explain that the current cyclone does not bring precipitation to the areas where the drought was the greatest, but to the western part of the country, where the hilly region makes their work difficult, but where they have the opportunity, they work to hold back the water.

Precisely so that the experts of Water Affairs can work calmly and efficiently, they made the decision to delete merely insulting and humiliating comments. Of course, there is still no problem with culturally critical and supportive comments, they are welcome - so the readers are not deprived of the opportunity to comment - but they are not interested in slander.
