Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky consulted on the phone with Csaba Molnár, the independent mayor of Kisoroszi, and offered the help of the Hungarian Defense Forces in local food and patient transport, as well as in evacuation.
An H145 helicopter was assigned to Kisoroszira, which is involved in the performance of the tasks.
The Hungarian Defense Forces has appointed a liaison officer to coordinate the military tasks of the region, said the minister, who said in his comment to the post: "the Hungarian Defense Forces is ready to support settlements and citizens in difficult situations."
