According to Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Katalin Szili, the European Union as a political and value community "must take up" the cause of national minorities.

The politician said on Saturday in Debrecen, at the annual meeting of the Sunday School Foundation, that the union does not differentiate between the approximately 50 million indigenous minorities living in European countries and immigrant minorities.

The European Union must realize that the issue of the long-term stability of Europe is the settlement of the issue of indigenous national minorities.

According to Katalin Szili, sooner or later the immigrant minority communities will demand rights that the national minorities living in the EU member states have not yet received.

In his presentation entitled "Current issues of national politics" held at the Reformed university church in Debrecen, the prime minister's chief adviser called it an essential element of long-term survival to Hungarian youth living outside the borders retain their identity through culture and language , in which the Sunday School Foundation plays a major role. volunteers.
