Péter Szijjártó hit the table after the German ambassador stepped into the Hungarian government.
On the occasion of the Day of German Unity, the diplomat allowed himself the unacceptable tone.
"Currently, we see with concern that the Hungarian government is putting this capital, which is also yours, at risk as a political bet with a completely uncertain goal and uncertain outcome.
This trust has been shaken more and more recently"
said Ambassador Julia Gross.
The ambassador threw up the Prime Minister's peace mission coinciding with the start of our consecutive EU presidency, as well as "the farce surrounding the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO". He also said that he assumes that "You, Hungarian voters - regardless of your political orientation - the question arises more and more often: how does this serve my interests, to what extent does this make life in Hungary better".
