Speaker László Kövér imposed the punishment on the president of the DK, who reported on it in a Facebook video on Saturday morning.

Gyurcsány said exactly that in his speech before the agenda in question:

"The Hungarian Prime Minister sold his own honor, ultimately sold the honor of his country, and sold his country's independence and self-reliance. Today, Hungary has a treacherous government and a treacherous prime minister."

Because of this, a sharp exchange of words arose between the leader of the session, László Kövér, and the DK politician, the speaker took the floor away from Gyurcsány, angrily telling him to sit down. “Did I speak clearly? He finished!” – the words of László Kövér are quoted.

Do you think the HUF 14 million penalty for Ferenc Gyurcsány's unqualified parliamentary speech is too much or too little?
