Just to clarify: Mrs. Dobrev's indignation regarding András Fekete-Győr's verdict is not only eye-rolling, but also stomach-churning.

As we reported, the court sentenced András Fekete-Győr to a one-year suspended prison sentence for the crime of group violence against an official committed as an accomplice, for throwing a smoke grenade at the police queue wall in 2018 during the protests over the so-called overtime law.

You're not a political convict, you cat, just a common law person

In connection with the matter, Klára Dobrev also felt the need to speak out, and managed to post the following on her Facebook page:

"It's enough that Orbán's pedophiles are always washed away, while a politician protesting against the government is dragged to the extreme and condemned.

András Fekete-Győr was convicted in the third degree today for a smoked candle, but did you remember László Varju? The representative of DK was beaten by the guards of the MTVA, while he only wanted to use his legal opportunity to check the operation of the MTVA as a member of parliament. Is he still being punished for disorderly conduct?

What will be the next step, will they bring in everyone who opposes this traitorous government?

Because you are all real traitors who ignore our most basic rights, but excuse your pedophile criminals!"

Let's clarify two things then!

First of all, the person and cause of Gábor Kaleta, which every opposition politician likes to ride on, can be linked to Fidesz as much as it is to the socialist governments. Wikipedia, which can hardly be accused of being right-wing, summarizes the otherwise career politician's career as follows:

"In 2001, he was successfully admitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he initially worked in the American Department. After that, he started working in the foreign service,

Between 2007 and 2011, he was the first subordinate and consul in Los Angeles, and from 2011 he was the deputy head of the American Department. After that, he held the position of press chief of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then of the Ministry of Justice. After the position of press chief, he took a job at the Department of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

In 2017, he was appointed head of the Hungarian embassy in Peru, which was reopened after its closure in 2006, and in 2018, in addition to leaving his mandate to head the Hungarian embassy in Lima intact, he was also entrusted with the representation in Bolivia. He was relieved of both duties in 2019."

So the crime came to light under the Fidesz government (and not even under the socialist governments), and accordingly he was dismissed from office and convicted by the court.

In this way, the washing out and defense , which Ms. Dobrev writes about, is incomprehensible.

Second: the crime of violence against an official, for which András Fekete-Győr was sentenced to one year in prison in the third instance, suspended for two years, is a common law crime. In fact, Bandi even got away cheaply, as the prosecution filed a motion for a longer probation period.

Not to mention that during the police terror of 2006, Ferenc Gyurcsány's henchmen cut off fingers, blinded or simply beat and kicked protesters for less.

So Mrs. Klára - back with the greyhounds!
