The creators of the series, the Hungarian and international stars and the producers came to the sold-out screening on the famous red carpet, where the professional audience enthusiastically welcomed the first part of the series.

The world premiere of the 10-part Hunyadi TV series was held at the Cannes Festival Palace (Palais des Festivals et des Congrès) at MIPCOM, one of the most important annual exhibitions of the film, television and streaming industry, Origo wrote.

The Munich-based Beta Film, one of the industry's dominant players, mobilized significant forces to promote the Rise of the Raven series on the international market, and Koby Gal Raday, who has accompanied the entire process of the project from the beginning as a co-producer on behalf of Beta Film, stated:

"It was the perfect stage to bring the power and magic of Rise of the Raven to a global audience."

Robert Lantos, Hunyadi's chief producer, said at the screening,

"the theme is the greatest untold story in world history, since since the 15th century the bells have been ringing at noon in honor of the triumph of Hunyadi and his soldiers in Nándorfehérvár. Everyone can hear their Congolese voice, but almost no one in the world knows the story. We created this series to change that."

Standing next to the lead producer on the steps of the Festival Palace were the Hungarian and international producers of the series, including executive producers Tibor Krskó, dr Kinga Hazai and Cecília Hazai, as well as Oliver Auspitz, Andreas Kamm and Ari Lantos. The world premiere was attended by Kádár L, who plays János Hunyadi. Gellért, Vivien Rujder, who plays Hunyadi's wife, Erzsébet, and Franciska Törőcsik, who plays Hunyadi's first love, Mara Brankovics. Among the actors, Mariann Hermányi, Ernő Fekete, Elena Rusconi and Thomas Trabacchi also appeared on the red carpet. All four directors of the series were also present: together with Robert Dornhelm, who wrote the first part, he met with the international professional community, Orsi Nagypál, Attila Szász, and showrunner Balázs Lengyel, who summarized the Cannes experience as follows:

Yesterday, we were able to present the first episode of Hunyadi to the MIPCOM professional audience in front of a full house. This is a particularly important moment for us, because it is through these professionals that this thoroughly Hungarian story can reach the most distant TV screens in the world.

It is based on the highly successful series of novels by Mór Bán Hunyadi, which will be shown on TV2 in 2025.
