The Tisza Party's alignment with Brussels means more migration, more war spending and less financial support for Hungary.

The Péter Magyars repeatedly voted in favor of illegal immigration and against the Hungarians in the European Parliament, Tamás Deutsch, the leader of the Fidesz-KDNP European Parliament group, stated in Strasbourg on Thursday. Csaba Dömötör, the Fidesz EP representative, said: the Tisza Party's alignment with Brussels means more migration, more war spending and less financial support for Hungary.

Speaking to Hungarian journalists, Tamás Deutsch said that in the EP vote on the EU budget for 2025, all the Tisza Party MEPs voted for the entry into force of the EU migration pact, which is considered flawed by the citizens and several governments of the Union and which encourages illegal migration, to enter into force as soon as possible.

According to his information, the EP representatives of the Tisza Party supported the proposal that the EU allocate ten billion forints more to the direct care of migrants arriving in the Union.

By voting in favor of the Tisza Party as an EP representative, the EP also accepted a proposal that considers it appropriate that Hungary received a severe punishment from the Court of Justice of the European Union,

also states: it is right to punish Hungary with 200 million euros for saying no to illegal migration and for not allowing migrants into the territory of the country and the Union by applying legal and technical border closures.

In addition, all Tisza Party MEPs voted down the proposal that Hungary receive two billion euros in support to cover the costs of the border fence erected on the southern borders.

It can be seen: Péter Magyar is not talking to the air when he says that a tiny part of Hungary's sovereignty should be relinquished by meeting Brussels' expectations, he said.

The politician said that the Tisza Party's EP representatives have already put this idea into practice with their votes, they are ready to fulfill the Brussels expectation that they would make Hungary a country of immigration by forcing the admission of illegal migrants.

We will not allow this, Hungary will not be a country of immigrants, we will thwart this effort of the Tisza Party, said Tamás Deutsch.

Csaba Dömötör, the Fidesz EP representative, said at the press conference: this is not the first time that the Tisza Party EP representatives support initiatives that are fundamentally against the interests of Hungary.

According to his words, the Tisza Party, according to their own statements, has an obligation to align with the position of the European People's Party (EPP).

The Tisza Party's alignment with Brussels means more migration, more war spending and less financial support for Hungary. All this means relinquishing not a small part of Hungary's sovereignty, but damage that is difficult to repair, he declared.

Csaba Dömötör added that those who care about Hungary's sovereignty, the preservation of its culture and financial independence can only count on the Fidesz-KDNP EP representatives.

The European Parliament group of Fidesz-KDNP wrote in a statement: during the voting on amendments to the budget amounts, the left-wing majority, which was defeated in the European Parliament elections, voted for a war budget. For a budget that finances institutional political blackmail, the continuation of the "rule of law jihad", the "gender-ideological and woke madness" and the Soros network.

The representatives of the Fidesz-KDNP, in line with the Patriots for Europe faction, rejected these amendments in order to protect the sovereignty of the member states.

At the same time, the Patriots for Europe faction stood up for Hungary on many points. Their representatives urge that the EU development funds withheld due to political blackmail, which are legally due to Hungary, be paid out as soon as possible. They demand that the development funds that are legally due to Hungary, but have not yet been paid out, cannot be spent for other purposes or in other countries, they wrote.

In connection with the ERASMUS+ and Horizon Europe programs, the Patriots' faction also demands that the European Commission withdraw its discriminatory decision that excluded Hungarian universities, researchers and Hungarian students from participating in the programs. The EU commission's decision caused enormous damage to Hungarian universities and students, they were at a competitive disadvantage compared to their European counterparts, they pointed out.
