The IDF has released intelligence and several documents found in the Gaza Strip that confirm the military ties of six Al Jazeera journalists to the Hamas and Islamic Jihad organizations.
Terrorist journalist Ismail Farid Muhammad Abu Omar was ambushed and wounded by Israeli forces in Gaza a few months ago. The documents again confirm that he was involved in terrorist activities. The Al Jazeera network has since tried to distance itself from Omar's terrorist activities.
The documents include personnel charts, lists of terrorist training courses, phone books and documents confirming the payment of terrorists. According to the IDF, this is clear evidence that these individuals serve as military agents of terrorist organizations operating in the Gaza Strip.
"These documents serve as evidence of the integration of Hamas terrorists into the Al Jazeera media network in Qatar"
the IDF said.
The IDF noted that most of the journalists the IDF unmasked as agents of Hamas's military wing spearheaded Hamas propaganda at Al Jazeera, particularly in the northern Gaza Strip.
